Started to study percussion at age seven, participated in New Lenox school band programs 5th through 12th grades, and began performing professionally at age fourteen.
Composed my own contest solo at Lincoln-Way Central High School and received perfect score for its perfomance (recognized in local newspaper).
Started giving private percussion lessons at age nineteen (45 students weekly).
Studied music education for two years at Joliet Junior College and two years at DePaul University.
Studied with famous studio recording artist Bob Tillis as well as legendary jazz drummer Tony Williams.
Have performed on radio and television.
